West Hartford, CT – Blum Shapiro Consulting, an affiliate of Blum Shapiro, the largest regional accounting and business consulting firm based in Connecticut, is pleased to welcome Brian C. Berry, Todd Sherman and Derek Nowak to the firm.

Berry, a West Hartford resident, is a manager and key member of our Technology Strategy and Solutions Group. He has eight years of experience with information technology, software design and consulting. Brian received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Northwestern University in 1994. He previously served as a software applications developer for Trinity College and as Director, Information Worker Solutions for Tallan, Inc. Brian is a frequent presenter at Microsoft sponsored events, including trade shows and professional conferences. He is also a member of the Northwestern Alumni Admissions Council.

Nowak, a New Haven resident, is a supervisor and specializes in providing accounting system solutions to clients in manufacturing, distribution, retail, construction, financial services and other industries. He also oversees implementation, training and support for a wide range of clients using Sage Software products, such as MAS 90 and MAS 200 software. Derek received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University in 2002 and served as Vice President of NDS Nowak Data Systems until its merger with Blum Shapiro Consulting. In addition, he volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwestern Connecticut.
